Huge sphere bowl

It takes a lot to make a production process look simple and effortless ... but with the right team, it is a lot of fun getting there! Last month we completed a study case with our project Raak MKB Konkreter in which Creastone's signature sphere water ornament was scaled up and 3D printed from concrete. This process showcased the opportunity for full customization of dimensions of existing designs as well as the function integration of a jacuzzi.The proof-of-concept spheres (60 & 90 cm diameter) were printed at Saxion's 3D concrete printing lab and Vertico's setup allowed us to scale up and print of a perfect 1,5m diameter sphere in just a few hours.
